i love your hair!

I think I like the hair... though I understand the shock of that much all gone at once. Been there. You comb and it stops, and your hand flies through the air. Odd.

Wowie. I don't count things other than socks, but I knit only 6 pair in 2008 (one year I knit 30 or more).

I didn't knit a single sweater, not a single sleeve, but I did two tanks, one cropped and one tunic.

And I knit a zillion samples for the 9 patterns I wrote, some of which are published and some are still in the super-secret or "not releasing it yet" stages.

I'm happy with last year. In 2007 I completed 4 patterns. In 2008 I completed 9, and in 2009 I have completed one already. Trust me, a published/completed pattern is worth a dozen pairs of personal-use socks any day.

Hugs, Lynndy

Your hair looks great! You look smashing in those pics. I love the colors in your bag. You're so productive. You are an inspiration to us all.

:-)

Donna

I *love* your new haircut - it looks great! Also, please send me the pink doubleknit hat posthaste - just tell the family member who's getting it they're out of luck!

Jaimi

Goodness, I almost didn't recognize you! I had to look back at the top of the post to see which blog I was up to in my Bloglines. I do like the hair though. It's a very flattering length.

Jenna

Love the hair! And the felted bag! Can I request one of those for the 2009 holiday season? I'll put my order together and get back to you...

Gina

Cheers to you for being open to the experience of "new" hair, and cheers to your stylist for giving you a great cut.

I think the idea of knitting just the right amount for oneself is spot on. You are correct -- it's not a competition.

Karen

Happy New Year Sharon! Your hair looks fabulous!!

Jacque Meadows

AMAZING hair!!

Amanda Grieshop

Love the knitting and the hair...though I haven't seen you in a very long time, I do remember you had much longer hair.

New things for me...babies, houses, and some knitting too...when the time allows for it!

Kel

Love the hair! I saw on facebook when you mentioned you'd gotten it cut but hadn't seen the pictures until now. :)

Laurie

The hair looks really good! Always feels odd at first, then you wonder why you waited.
