What a fantastic finished project, Sharon!

I'm sorry that I didn't get to see it on you in person. It looks lovely!

Chris

I love it and it looks fabulous on you. It suits your sense of style! And makes you look like someone who would smack down a rude cell phone user!

Ruth

Your mirror isn't lying...it looks great :)

Vera

Enjoy your travels, and I must meet you when you come to Savannah. Charleston is only 90 minutes away.

The poncho is very cool.

Jane

Your itinerary looks wonderful. I'll be reaching your milestone in four years, and I think I'd better start planning for some fun travel, too. The poncho is fabulous, and you look great in it.

Sheila (MoMo)

The poncho is terrific! I envy you your travel opportunities.
P.S. I will be 60 in February -- we baby boomers will fight old age tooth and nail!

Marika

Whatever the digits say doesn't matter, you look absolutely great!

LynnH

You look great. yes, the mirror is telling you the truth. Very nice.

And it must feel like heaven?

Cate

The poncho looks great. Let the cool weather begin!

And my birthday means I am eligible to collect Social Security! I figure I better get it while it's there ;-)

Lynne

That poncho is beautiful and so YOU! I really wish our December DW trips were at the same time. We'd recognize one another by the sock bags attached to our hips!

Pat K

Lovely poncho, and it's all ready for traveling!

Gina

I love the poncho, and it's always wonderful to have something that you can, want to and will wear after the investment of your time and money into a project. It looks like a lovely snuggly hug.

Jessica

You totally deserve all those great trips! Enjoy them! The poncho looks great too. :) And congrats on the successful wedding. They look very happy.

Pooch

What a beautiful poncho! It has so much style and looks just gorgeous! It must be fun to wear!

:)

Kristi

You have got some fantastic times ahead of you!

Suann

Careful where you wear that poncho...you might get mugged :-) Have a very happy birthday.

Julia

Wow! Nice job. And the mirror is NOT lying. Guess you're all ready for fall now. There is one poncho (similar to this one in style) that I want to make from a Patons book - it's all cabled and takes like 11 skeins of Classic Wool. I have no idea when I will get a chance to make it. Going to Stiches? I'm so jealous.

Lorette

The poncho looks terrific on you! It looks like something that will get you through the birthday travels in style. That yarn looks dreamy.

Carol Giancaspro

I am currently knitting this poncho, Upcountry, and found a discrepency in the number of stitches between rows 11 and 12. On row 12 it says to P 14 and I believe it should be P 46. I am not an experienced knitter and this has thrown me for a loop. I find the instructions lacking and difficult. What say you?
