Super Cool!! How fun to be working at the yarn shop! And my my... what a list of WIPs you have there! Much longer than mine. Whew. Thank goodness. hehe All those WIPs would be laying a lot of guilt on me!

Vicki

Oh, I love to read about dreams coming true. ; )

Abbey

I miss my days of working in a yarn shop ... you just pick up on so much, you're in the knitting 'loop', you see all of the cool new yarns, and patterns, and you get all of that inspiration from seeing what the customers are working on... fun!

Bron

Congrats! What a lovely way for the Universe to answer your daydreams! :) I know you'll love it.

Gina

Isn't it wonderful to do "work" that feels so much like play? Good for you!

Lorette

Nice daydream; good for you for making it come true! Now about that lottery ticket...

Tam

I watched Gilmore Girls last night too and I soooo wanted to knit in the Knitathon. Of course, I could never knit outside in November. NEVER!

Lucky girl with the yarn store gig--good for you!

Julia

How exciting to work in a yarn shop. I used to work in a fabric store - I sew too. Good for you for being open when the "daydream" opportunity presented itself. I think it's also nice to work when one does not really need to for the income, though extra cash never hurts. I'm still counting down the days (okay, it's really years) till I can retire. But at least I am vested for retirement AND insurance now, so it's just a matter of time.

Kellie

I love Rae's but she closes so early during the week that I can never get there. Maybe i'll see you there sometime though. :O)

Michelle

My dream retirement job is working in a shop that's half yarn, half books, with a cozy coffee shop in the middle to sit and sip and knit and read. A fireplace would be good too. And bowls of free chocolates. Your job sounds nice, too. :o)

Jessica

I am *so* glad to hear that your are enjoying your retirement! There are so many that never seem to be able to do so and it is so sad. Keep playing!! :)

Angi

How Fun! Very inspiring indeed!
