Your maturity level astounds & impresses me greatly...but then, it always has. ;)

Lovely Ribbon Tee! I'm so happy it fits & that *you're* happy with it!

A baby moment? Priceless.

NOTHING is more wonderful than seeing your child with his child. Beautiful.

Okay, now I don't feel like such a "swatching idiot". I can usually get row guage, but stitch gauge is usually smaller - but then there are some rows that are bigger. I think it is the knitting demon (aka the housework fairy) who wants you to quit knitting and work on something else! I have determined that as my stitches are perfected (there will be yarn in Heaven!) My swatching will improve as well. Thanks for sharing another picture of that truly gorgeous grand-baby! Have a great Monday!

Vera

Addis are still my favorite needles, but the Knit Picks are coming close.

Your Ribbon Tee looks wonderful.

I wish Harlot would come to more places in the South.

As for Abby--Awwwwh.

Kathleen

Have you tried knitting with one size and purling with another? Hang in there. Lovely knits. We had wild turkeys in MA. And skunks too.

Laura

Good luck for knitting perfection on Ballerina. And the ribbon T looks awesome! I'm so jealous - how about a modeled shot? You're so calm and cool about seeing the Yarn Harlot - like she's no kind of celebrity at all. heh I'm sure it was really wonderful. :)

Julia

perfectly understandable why you didn't wait in any line. Beautiful photo of your babies. Stephanie will be around again no doubt. But she truly is hysterical. Did she talk bad about the Texas heat?

Donna

Sorry I missed you - I was in the 4th floor conference room, and didn't make it downstairs until the signing. I did stay until the bitter end, and it was really fun to meet Steph (she knew who I was!) and her friend Rams. My friend Jen and I had a great time in Ann Arbor, but did no yarn shopping at all, so we're thinking we'll come back up to partake in the yarny delights of Ann Arbor, or even Lansing - perhaps I'll see you then. Don't worry about Mermaid; just think about how great it will feel when you've solved the problem.

I can't wait to see the progress on your Ballerina. That's such a pretty sweater. I love those turkeys! How neat to see that right outside your window.

Angi

Awesome Knitting! I have a question. I just saw your knitting bag on Lynne's blog. Is there a pattern someplace?

ann

little Abby is beautiful!

Becky

Poults huh? Now that's a crossword word. Did you already know it, or did Google come in handy yet again? Either way, you've saved me the effort :) Thank goodness our trip is soon, Abby's getting too big too fast!

Laurie

Wonderful pictures of turkeys and heron! Gauge, yeah, she's a b*tch. Can't underestimate that lengthening with wearing quotient.
