Vera

Have a nice time tonight!

Laura

And don't forget about the partridge in a pear tree!! heh And all along I've been so envious of all the knitting you do. Just think of the mountain of needles you would have if you finished all those WIPs!!! :)

Susie

You're home, right? Will you be around on the 24th as I venture into the Big City? Sure would be nice to hug your neck!

Jessica

You should definitely check out knittinghelp.com for your YO question. Very good site with videos too!

Chris

You know I'll be there. I did Judy's class in Indy, the cell phone. You will love it. It's really fun and easy. Oops, maybe I shouldn't have said that!

Laurie

Some knitting directions clarify that YO means bring the yarn forward. Not sure when that is what it is supposed to be, or why. Maybe that would be more appropriate in a short row situation.

Dorothy

I made Tilt several years ago and can highly recommend it. It was a fun knit and was beautiful when done. And what can you say about Silk Garden - yummy!

Miche

So much to knit, so little time! The ballerina will be amazing. Worth a year or two or whatever it takes! I've started PT for my neck- such a drudge to go, but when I get that massage at the end, I'm ever so glad I did.

Kristi

I'll be at Stitches! We can meet!

I'm not doing any classes, all shopping. Arriving late Friday night, staying until Sunday.

Donna

That YO sounds like the Priscilla Gibson-Roberts method of short-rowing - try the Dream Socks pattern from IK (on the subscriber site too), or Simple Socks Plain and Fancy for more details. Please knit Tilt, so I can live vicariously through you - I've had that sweater on my list for some time; perhaps that should be my reward for all this freelancing if I can tear myself away from the Jane Ellison Noro books. Looks like I'm going to see Stephanie in Ann Arbor - perhaps I'll see you there?

I'll be at Stitches Midwest. Beth (yarnenvy.blogspot.com) and I will be arriving on Thursday afternoon and staying through Sunday. We've been looking for some people to get together with. I'm taking Karen Alfke's Unpattern: Top-Down Sweater class all day on Friday, but Saturday and Sunday are all for shopping and hanging around with other knitters.

Gwen

Susan

(Please note the "Plum" and extrapolate as needed...I'm trying to avoid direct connections between old and new IDs... :) )

Did you make it to see the Harlot in Ann Arbor today? I'm dying to know, as I took a large local contingent to Austin for her appearance yesterday and it was SO COOL. She's amazing and we had the best time!

By the way, my link is brand-new and has little in the way of posts so far...but you're the first to receive the address!
