Good news about all of the things you're getting done! I am Bottle-green with envy.

Oh, and thanks again about the meme thing.

Karen

I am so with you on the cheese thing. I too can do Velveeta but I can also do pizza with a little cheese. But just the thought of lasagna makes me queazy. My family all loves cheese. YUCK!

Laura

I love all your B's, and I'm GLAD to know about the Velveeta (as if I cook for you often). Your weird things really aren't weird. Not by the weirdness of knitters kind of standards anyway. :)

Sarah

Why yes, that IS intarsia! You're a genius!

Kristi

I knit my first bobble today - horray for B's!!! I don't like cheese either, it has the texture of skin and I don't like to eat skin! How come when I use "creative license" on a project - it's not something like intarsia but a silly mess???? Congrats on discovering something without trying..that's the best!

Jessica

Thank you for your insight on the "attention span" thing. I often think of myself as getting bored with everything, but like you said, I can knit for hours so I must be perfectly normal! :)

Michelle

I threw on a new t-shirt and sweater Saturday to go see my daughter in a play. On the way out the door, my other daughter pulled the price tag off. Huging my actress after the play, she discretely pulled that size sticker thing off the front of the shirt. Yea, I know about that tag thing.

wow...the wallaby is turning out great...can't wait to see it up close and personal like (you will bring it by the shop to show it off won't you?? :o) pleeeeeease?)

on the chocolate front...no need to waste perfectly good chocolate...put it in a paper bag, staple it shut (just so it doesn't tempt you further) then take it to the boys...if they won't eat it, chances are one of us moochers will ;o)

Anne

I like the tidy, cyclical story of your Books. I'm betting that young lady just feels like she won the lottery. :)

That was YOU on FreeCycle! I thought that was quite the interesting post for giveaway! Ha ha! When cyber-world collide! :-)

I can completely sympathize with the boxes of books. Turns out I'm moving to Vienna, Austria in two weeks. My husband has an affinity for books - lots of books to put in storage. The past month has been a bit of a whirlwind. We thought we were maybe moving to Syracuse or Boston and then the Vienna opportunity came along. My hubby is going to being working on a post-doc having to do with hearing implants over there. And I will knit! Please tell everyone from the guild that I really enjoyed my time with them and that I will miss them. I don't know that I'll be able to make it to any more of the knit-ins before I go. I will keep in touch via the net. Auf Wiedersehen!

Maureen

I had to laugh mostly because I am the same way with cheese!!! I can tolerate a tiny bit of cheese on pizza, but the dog usually ends up with most of it. I won't even get started on the rest of the smelly cheeses! Sadly, I don't eat Velveta... knowing that it is a "cheese" type product makes me cringe. Plus I too leave the tags on my clothes until I have tried them at home at least twice to see if I REALLY like them. I don't shop often, so I have to be sure I'll wear it! Have a great weekend!
