I think I'm mentally in my second year. But I really do need to knit more. What you said. :)

Kathleen

Very cute Sharon. You are such a creative thinker.

Stephanie

I am so completely first year!

(and I freely admit to being a comment slut.)

Allison

So true. Going into my third year I am a lot more relaxed about my blogging. Now I actually do it for me instead of for my site stats like the first year!

Rossana

Tee hee hee! You still crack me up! One year later! Thanks for being one of my first comment-leavers...about a year ago. Have a great weekend!

Tam

Very true! I can totally relate to both knit blogging stages. Wonder what's in store for year three! =)

Danielle

Holy Crap! Not only am I first year...I'm first 6 months!! I am a Blog Whore! I love to read! I love to comment! I love to get comments! I love to comment on comments! I, however, rarely have time to knit because of my Blog Addiction. I think I should knit right now. (I hope someone reads this, comes to my site, and comments.)

Brenda

Oh yeah, that's it exactly!

jacque

Thanks for the advice, I will try to pace myself! I have added three links...i just haven't figured out the button thing yet. Thanks for the "shout Out" it was a nice surprise yesterday!

Dorothy

Huge laugh!!! Except for the posting every day (I realized at the beginning that was NEVER going to happen for me) and the Secret Pals (no time!), that pretty much described me. I think in the beginning we think we all have to be Wendy. When it hits us that we never will be, we can relax! And yes, aren't we all "comment sluts"?

Norma

Yup, yup, yup.

Deb

I love it! I'm into the second year and still need to calm down a bit:)

Jane

Exactly!

Rebecca

I'm coming up on my one year blogiversary and am hoping to get into 2 yr menality soon ;)

Just had to post a comment that I really enjoyed the creativity of your last two posts - they were hilarious to read!! Keep blogging, between that breathing and relaxing that is ;)

dawn

ha! still in my first year and feeling the guilt trip! I'm a blogger who tries to stick to knitting only content so I have to knit! There's a world of difference between blogging for oneself and for an audience. (I started blogging to log my knitting).

Dawn:)

So funny and so true! I've just made my first year blogging, but in the past few months (at least), I've slipped into second-year attitude. Now let's all see what the third year brings.

Happy Anniversaries to us!

Patti

I definitely relate! The only think I did differently is jumped right on the rings bandwagon before I had any content on my blog. Duh!

natasha fialkov

i am in my first year. i do have some blogs bloglined, but i won't hesitate to drop someone. in a second. and i do love to blog and get a nice response, hm...i guess it applies to me, but i have replaced my paper journalling with this instead. i still do a sketchbook journal. now i feel kind of bad about my nerdy blogging. you mean you don't really love me?

Vera

How true. I've been blogging for nearly 18 months my self, and I find myself doing the same things too.

lynette

you hit it right on the head! i'm cracking up.

Amy

Oh, I'm so happy to know the pressure drops off in the second year!

Julia

You are sooo funny. And absolutely spot on too! I am deep into my third year and can't add a thing to your list except, now I pay for my hosting by the year and not the month. I do wish I had time to read more blogs because there are so many wonderful ones. But then, I'll never get to knit every beautiful pattern that I see either.

Karen

Oh this is so true! :)

Kristyn

Perfect. As a blogger in my second year, I say... this is SOOOO true! My only difference is that I don't have many readers (because I don't comment on other blogs very often), and that is OK with me. I have decided that my blog is like my diary - only public. And I'm allowing my diary to be open to anyone who wants to read it.

Not really anything like a diary, then, is it? Oh, well - guess I'll have to go back to figuring that one out!

julia fc

Ah man, you got me. Second year, and I'm right there with you, even a few days later, babe. Ain't it much more pleasant. There's a life lesson here.

Laura

Most days I'm a first year blogger. Someday I just don't have the energy. I just can't keep up with all of the blog sthat I want to. Otherwise I won't get any knitting done!
Coming from someone who also adores getting comments, I LOVE your blog! Keep doin what you do best!

Christy

omg! too funny! I'm somewhere in between the year 1 & year 2 mentalities. 'gotta knit so I can take pics so I have something to blog about' is still here. it keeps me motivated! ;) reading other blogs on the other hand, just adds to my need to buy/need to make lists. not sure if that's good or bad...

Kim

What a hoot!! So true. I am in my second year and trying to keep up with it all is a challenge at times....but a fun challenge, eh?
