I thought I had achieved a one-ness with my yarn swift, and even blogged about it in September 2004
http://www.zenknit.com/blog/?p=33

But since then, it has been dicey. Some yarns just refuse to be made into balls without that dancing thing happening that you mentioned.

I just don't get it. I haven't seen this phenomena (phenomenon?) mentioned on anyone else's blog until now. Perhaps we are twins separated at birth?

I have also run into yarn that needs to be yanked at every turn --- it seems that every strand resides in some deep dark recess of the skein. Even up to the very end --- how can this be?

ooo, I hate it when that happens. Been there, done that.
I hope you have a fun and safe trip. Take lots of pictures for us!

Have a great trip! You've probably left already but I hope that everything goes smooth and you travel safe.

Hey I wanted to tell you about something before I forget. I don't know if you ever knit for charity...I'm looking for MI knitters who are looking for a charity in MI to knit items for.

You may know that I started a charity project called The Preemie Project this past winter. Our first chapter has been founded in Iowa. Now we're looking to get one started in MI. We're planning on donating to Saint Joseph's in Ann Arbor and possibly to Bronson hospital in Kalamazoo. I'm open to more suggestions too! =0)

Anyhow, in case you're interested here's the link to our website:

Have a wonderful trip! See you when you get back. =0)
