For the sadly discontinued yarn, check ebay. They often have discontinued and hard to find colors. I'm assuming with all the "Time" you've been spending lately on the internet, you've Googled, etc? Would this qualify as a stash acquirement and diet achievement? :)

Susie

Awwwwwww.....you're so sweet! And you photoshopped that picture, too, didn't you, you darling! I only have one extra chin and the cellulite is gone! (Can you tell that *I* hate having my picture taken too?)

You are so right about the paradise thing. OMG. I need a Threadbear up my way. Ask the guys...pleeaaasssse? Okay...I'll come visit the yarn again. But I'll call to let you know I'm late (or will you already have assumed that?)

I think you're really too young to be doing something that starts with the word 'elder.' Perhaps some day, but not yet. OTOH, maybe I'll get to journey with you one day...when I'm elder.

Blessings,
Susie

Emma.

For the Diamond Patch why not buy a different colour of the same yarn and mix it up ? Something similar. It'll just add to the interest.
Have a great weekend.

The Fibonacci cheat probaby won't work for you here, because of the amount of yarn you are short. If googling doesn't help, do the sleeves in a complementary color and fibre mix. Or frog the thing, and use the yarn for a shawl or scarf. Sucks. I could see myself walking right into a mistake like that.

Kathleen

I agree with Emma. A different color of the Interlacements. The pattern will pull it off. And you too. :) Have a fab weekend.

I'm going with the others here on using a different color of Interlacements. Sursa II is really cute. Can we see how it looks on you? Have fun at your brother's wedding!

Kris

Knitting channel? What knitting channel? I have DIY and their knitting shows....I don't really like their knitting shows but watch anyway. Is there actually an entire network of just knitting??? Can it be so?????

Sarah G.

Beautiful job on Sursa II! Have fun at the wedding!

Stephanie

Sursa is gorgeous; thanks for e-mailing me. Shame on Interlacements for not correctly labeling their hanks. The knitswap group on yahoo might be a place worth checking, though I vote for the second color in the same yarn. I think it would be really pretty.

Aaaak! The very first sweater I knit (I was 16) was using some yarn I inherited from my grandmother. Mom assured me it was enough. I picked the pattern- a vintage looking cardi with a hem and nipped in waist using ribbing. I ran out of yarn half way through the second sleeve. Currently, I have a cabled tote, an EZ Tomten, and a baby sweater on hold due to a yarn shortage. And there have been several other projects- hubby's scarf, Merangue sweater, child's sweater, and the list goes on- I had to find more yarn for. It's frustrating, but I know you'll find something wonderful to finish the sweater or another project with the yarn.
