Ditto. Isn't knitting together with like minded people the best. It encompasses so much more than just knitting. We are knitting the fabric of our lives together in ways that will never be "tinked".

Lovely post. And you look lovely, as well. Thanks for your time and friendship, it means a lot to me.

The social part of knitting is as much of the process as knitting itself. The grrls at SNB are wonderful and the community of bloggers can't be beat anywhere. Your shawl looks heavenly.

What an amazing week! The shawl is lovely!

Sharon,

I wanted to second (or third, in this case) your lovely comments about knitting with others. Community is one of my favorite things about knitting. Also, in response to your blog comments, hmmm, I SHOULD have tagged you! Hee hee. Is it too late now?

And lastly, I wanted to say thanks for being a good bloggy friend. You were one of the first knit bloggers I ever spoke with (before I even had a blog), about the flower washcloths, and you were oh-so-helpful and friendly. I read your site whenever you update, and always look forward to your humor and insight. Thanks!

Thanks again for another great post. I certainly agree that I've enjoyed the friendship/fellowship I've developed since knitting. BTW, you look ethereal.

Vera

What a beautiful shawl! You look wonderful in it.

I'm always amazed at how fullfilling it is to knit with my knitting groups. The sharing of conversation and craft is almost a spiritual feeling for me. I'm sad that my husband doesn't have the same in his life. Jane
