Ah, the button catch twenty-two. I had a lovely blouse that I kept the buttons from just to sew them on something else. Still have them in my button box!

monica

I have the same issues with buttons.

Vera

You've been busy deconstructing.

Please check my 2/1/05 entry.

ooh yes! Take a class, I'm sure you'll become a master button maker too! Ugh, some days it's most definitely Knit One Tink Two around here.

"My hips need a 5 inch ease to disguise the fact that I need a 5 inch ease."

Oh yes, I so understand. Ease is a four letter word.

LOL Deconstruction and sewing. Two of my least favorite things too. Sounds like a good goal to go for the lovely buttons and yarn to trick the mind into accepting the less desirablness!

this was a very fun post, miss. you air your frustrations well. :)

My hubby claims I frog more than I knit. You have my empathy. And I'm the same way with buttons. DD#1 made me a button in her ceramics class last year, and I must make a sweater for it to adorn. That button I will sew on with pride.
