knitternet...perfect! Someones asked me the other day if I were going to go knit with my imaginary friends from the Internet (it was meant as a deragatory remark...) and I just GRINNED and said Why YES, I do believe I will! When I got to the knitters night, I pulled kersti out of my bag and someone gasped...OH, I know YOU, I've seen that sweater on your blog! You know what? It was wonderful. She was funny and smart and well read and a great knitter...but I'd never have met her without the knitternet.
I just finished reading your clutter/order post. Perfectly said...now I wonder what I did with those jewelry making supplies...hmmmmmmmmm.

I'm glad it got to you so fast. I hope you like the colors-to me they seemed kind-of beachy. Duh! I guess that's why the color name is "Sand Ridge"! Anyway, enjoy!

Hey, thanks for the shout-out Sharon! I'm actually headed to Chicago tomorrow for a scrimmage. Frisbee is fun, but I definitely miss all of my new knit-in pals :(

Kathleen

Love the colors of that sock yarn. Do you have a pattern in mind?

Hey, I'm a card-carrying member of the World Atlatl Association! I'm also interested in traditional archery (i.e., like the Native Americans and Robin Hood did it -- no compound bows, etc.) Cool! I've done a little contradancing in my day, but not nearly enough, and not recently enough. I like English Country Dancing too. Hmm -- maybe this will give me the impetus to go to the ECD tomorrow afternoon! :-)
