I could totally relate to the part about emailing other bloggers and not people I have decade long relationships with. I guess an email to long time friends require much thought (about more than just knitting!)

Carefree looks great. And I love your parquet floors too. :)

Cozy looks cute and "cozy". So, what are you going to bring to Stitches Midwest with you?

margene

You look marvelous. It looks soft and dreamy. A perfect thing for snuggling in, dressing up, or sittin' around a knittin'. Love the colors, too.

We sound so much alike! I had emails in my Inbox for 6 months...finally decided the person had forgotten that I exist and I deleted them. I have freinds that rarely hear from me via email and they know I'm on the computer all day...wonder what they think? That I'm too busy for them, maybe?
Blogging is addicting and it's like always making new friends all the time. Maybe because we can't see each other while we talk or know each other very well it keeps us interested. There is a mystic that goes with it. Knitting is also the one place in my life that is organized. I keep journals, pictures, yarn is organized by proejcts. I take extra care to do a good job and don't mind fiddly things that have to be done. I even swatch! It's one place where my good attributes come through.

Another excellent post! I love it that you've got the big picture in focus.

I agree with Amy, another excellent post. I love your cozy, new sweater. Looks wonderful on you.

And I so relate to the way you manage your life. I am the exact same way! I have had a phone-call list for months that just doesn't seem to get any shorter (could be because I am not actually making the phone calls!), but emails from online buddies are answered quickly. I love your "Big Picture" perspective though. The important things are taken care of!

Love the shawl with sleeves. Beautifully done!
The rest of the post gave me such a chuckle....perfectly put!

Very very pretty Sharon. It looks very comfy...I bet you get lots of use from it!

Sharon, thank you so much for your warm welcome to blog land! And I love your suggestion of running the water and adding something smelly when everything starts to spin around in my head. Nothing like a soak to clear the cobwebs.
I enjoyed reading your blog this morning. I especially enjoyed the loose ends story.
And your new Collinette Cardigan is beautiful.
Have a great day.
