Don't know whether to hug you/your guild or whack you (for my impending sub-poverty), but either way you get full credit for convincing The Boys this is a yarn-friendly environment. The Kalamazoo contingent will be renting a bus as soon as they're open...Big kisses for you big spenders, mwah, mwah.

P.S. Listening to books is reading. But then, I only made it three days into week 4, then snapped like a stick (but pity me -- I work in a bookstore!)

monica

sure, rub it in!!!

Daphne

15 minutes from work, 15 minutes from home. What could possibly be better? ;)

Emma

Ooooooooo ! Fantastic ! You lucky knitter, you.I'm most jealous that you get to knit & hang out with the boys.Fab !
Do you do personal shopping ?...

Margene

OMG, I'd be totally broke! What fun for you. Will you be 'living' there?!

Karen

Nik

you cannot imagine the jealousy i feel toward you right now.

katie

ooooo that's where you live? guess who's coming to visit!!! the new shop will be a whole hour closer than the old one (not that i ever got to the old one) - it's 10 hours!

hey did you drive or fly to NY when you came here??

katie

Vera

If I lived 15 minutes from Threadbear, I would have to offer myself to them as an indentured servant!

Joanne

Where do you live exactly? and do you have a guest room?

Nancy

The amount of jealousy I feel right now is amazing ;)

Mindy

I think if someone decided to reinvent her home as a B&B and offer daily shuttle service, she could retire in 6 months.

ann

I think Mindy may be onto something there Sharon!

Sharon

Sharon..... You are one lucky lady to have the Threadbear store relocating only minutes away from where you live.

Here I was so looking forward to visiting their new location in Columbus, Indiana. It is only 90 minutes from where my parents live. An hour from where my oldest daughter lives. Now I won't get a chance to go to their store as planned for my next visit down to the Cincinnati area.

Hmmm..... wonder if it would be possible to make a trip to Michigan.... go to that big Fiber event and Threadbear store in August also. Now that would really be a wonderful weekend trip!

Sharon

Lynette

Sharon, Sharon, Sharon....you lucky gal, you!
A group of us were planning to drive to Columbus in the fall, but I guess we'll be planning a trip to Michigan. Michigan in the fall, how great.

We'll have to look you up :)
