My sympathies for the seminar topic...I had an eight hour Anxiety in Autistic Populations consult last week...and I wasn't ALLOWED to knit (it was not so discreetly pointed out to me that it makes the other therpaists nervous. WELL. I .NEVER....harumph).
I'm thinking of chunking it all and opening up a yarn store, myself. If I were a MAN, this would be a good time to show me a red convertible and introduce me to a young blonde *hee*
I personally would rather have some red koigu and be introduced to Lorna's Laces...to each her own.
KNIT on....

I like the Eternal Sunshine concept ... and agree with your list - time & money being the primary constraints, as usual.

Something else that I would like is more of/a better connection to a local knitting community. That would provide a real ray of sunshine.

I display (some of) my yarns in a pretty woven laundry size basket in my bedroom, so I smile every time I go there.

I JUST bought the Coffee Trader and will start it this weekend. And I have been playing with the idea of bringing all my yarn up from downstairs and displaying it in the living room. You are absolutely right -- I WOULD smile every time I walked into the house.
