I'm muddling along on the entrelac sweater. Another day, another bunch of rectangles. (Question: Sharon, exactly how many rectangles in a bunch? Answer: Yes.)
Since I can't show you much progress on my own sweater, I was going to show you the amazing progress someone else made. I took my camera to the knit-in Tuesday night, but when I snapped Sarah's picture in her newly completed navy Lopi Lite Einstein sweater, the camera beeped and said NO MEMORY CARD. Gee, just like my brain!
NO MEMORY CARD!
Click here instead to see Sarah's Einstein sweater, AND her Dune sweater. Now that's progress.
ADDITIONS TO THE LIST: YOU KNOW YOU'RE A KNITTER WHEN.....
.....you notice that you've dropped a stitch and you simply fix it (Donna)
.....when you worry more about what project to bring on a trip than what clothes! (Patty)
.....when you put back the Triscuits and the Milanos so you can afford another skein of yarn (Plumwine)
.....when you are looking at a Philosopher's Wool Sweater Kit for your next project (Abby)
.....when your husband knows what LYS means--and makes sure the dye lot matches when he get yarn for you. (Vera)
.....when you take your knitting bags home and leave your purse at work. (Vera)
.....when your husband wants to start a "Partners of Knitters" Support Group on the web. (Vera)
And, thanks to Sarah again, you know you're a knitter when you get one of those emergency calls that someone near and dear to you has been rushed to the hospital, and your first action to organize yourself in the event you have to rush to someone's bedside is to figure out which project will be suitable. (Positive thoughts on their way, Sarah.)
THE GLASS IS HALF FULL DEPARTMENT
I still have one earring of the favorite pair I put on this morning.
