Here it is. The long-awaited picture of Constant Companion, in all her glory.
I debuted her at work today. Elegant, functional, classy. A girl can't have too many bags.
Now I am in that antsy inbetween state where I don't know what I want to start next. I'm in progress on the Koigu socks, the Ugly Duckling scarf, the Silk Garden hat, and one of the flower petal washcloths from Weekend Knitting. I'll finish the hat tonight so I can make my yarn choice. I have several scarves I'd like to knock off quickly for gifts. But I want another biggie that I can really get absorbed in, with long stretches of even knitting for finding a rhythm, and a few short challenging features to triumph over.
Will it be the cap-sleeved silk tee from the Fiber Festival?
Hmm. I'm pondering that. I was going to list several possibilities, but my fingers aren't moving. Sort of like a ouija board in reverse. This weekend I will study my pattern collection and my stash, and if nothing else jumps out at me, the tee it is.
Now I have to soak in the bathtub, then watch the episode of West Wing that I taped from last night, while I finish the Noro hat. Sounds like a plan.
