We are getting "Cold Mountain" at the Cinema that I manage in mid-Jan. Being an independant theatre, we always have to wait a couple of weeks past release. I had heard that about Renee being comical. I started to read the book and then I stopped because, I did not want it to be another bad experience like it was with "Under the Tuscan Sun".

You visited mine, and now I visited yours. Very nice, and you've given me some good blog ideas! My big question is, what yarns did you use for these ADORABLE purple fuzzies? They are very, very cute.

I used Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride, which so far remains my favorite wool for felting purposes. I tried Philosopher's Wool, and I just didn't enjoy the actual knitting. It's so rough. I've also used Galway, and it's nice to knit with. It took a bit longer to felt sufficiently, and it came out VERY fuzzy. I'm currently working on a Constant Companion bag with Cascade 200. It's been a pleasure to work with, and I hear good things about it's felting qualities.
